Joining Regina Elliott and arts center Music Director Juanita Bosee in offering several new classes are recent-hires Dan Hague, Sharon Levin, Jaana Narsipur, Max Pakhomov and Megan Talay, as well as Darien High School graduates Will Bruno, Zach Heyde and Stephanie Wong.
The center will provide both individual and group classes, including violin for children as young as 3 and piano beginning at age 4. Among the new classes is "Vocal Divas!" The vocal performances workshop runs 4:30-6 p.m. on Tuesdays through Oct. 13, and focuses on classic pop and rock n’ roll styles. The class costs $240 and is open to performers ages 7 to 12.
Wong will teach violin and viola, as well as piano and flute. Heyde, an award-winning pianist and Darien resident, will teach music composition and piano. Also teaching piano is Pakhomov, the principal piano player in the Bronx Opera Company. Bruno will teach drums, while Hague will provide voice lessons. Levin will lend her time teaching flute, while Talay shares her expertise in guitar and piano.
