The discussion, led by health and wellness educator Diane Frankel-Gramelis, is for mothers and daughters, and covers the physical and emotional changes of puberty. In a straightforward and entertaining manner, Frankel-Gramelis will teach young girls ages 9 to 12 what to expect in the future.
This program is not a sex talk, but will instead provide a starting point for further discussions with daughters about their changing bodies.
Frankel-Gramelis earned both her bachelors and masters degrees from Southern Connecticut State University where she is an adjunct professor. She is also a health and wellness coach and presents stress reduction, lifestyle and health-related strategies.
