Darien Police Hold Tip-a-cop Event For Special Olympics

DARIEN, Conn. – Darien police officers will host a Tip-A-Cop event Thursday, May 14, to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut.

Officers with the Darien Police Department will assist Darien Social restaurant staff in taking orders and serving food.

All tips the officers receive will benefit Special Olympics Connecticut, which offers a variety of fitness, health and sports programs throughout the year. People of all abilities can participate in Special Olympics activities.

The event will be held from 5 to 10 p.m.
