Darien League Of Women Voters Offers Showing Of 'Suffragette'

DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien League of Women Voters invites residents to see “Suffragette” at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Darien Library Louise Parker Berry Community Room.

As a part of the League of Women Voters Annual Sunday Film, “Suffragette” is the working women’s story of the fight for the right to vote in Great Britain. The film stars Meryl Streep and Carey Mulligan.
