Delos’ free lecture will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 6 p.m. at Greenwich Hospital.
Delos is a fellowship-trained physician who specializes in comprehensive knee and shoulder conditions and Sports Medicine. He will discuss the many causes of chronic knee pain and the latest treatments to help patients get back to their normal activities.
Chronic knee pain from arthritis, an old sports injury or other medical conditions, can limit enjoyment of daily ife. In the past, options for non-operative treatment were limited to a variety of medications such as anti-inflammatories or more potent pain relievers, long periods of physical therapy or injections such as cortisone shots or visco supplementation.
Ultimately, if those forms of treatment failed, the only solution for lasting pain relief was a total knee replacement.
The lecture is free and open to the public, but registration is required. To register, call 203-863-4277 or register online at www.greenwichhospital.org
