The event, which will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Andrew Stefanou Salon & Spa, 25 Old Kings Hwy # 27, Darien, will be broken into workshops where experts in nutrition, wardrobe management, online marketing and an author will share their secrets to success. The purpose of the event is to help women to move their businesses forward and to meet new women with whom they can collaborate.

Kathy McShane, managing director of Ladies Who Launch in Connecticut, said in a statement: “This group has been chosen because they are successful and they are willing to share their journey with other women. I find most women enjoy helping others to avoid some of the mistakes that they have made.”

The workshops will feature:

  • Lisa Corrado, M.S. from New Canaan. Corrado is a clinical nutritionist who tries to make busy people healthier by marrying clinical nutrition with culinary training. Clinical nutrition is the scientific part of the equation and the culinary training is the fun part of the equation. It is as important as the clinical nutrition part because if you don’t like how it tastes, you won’t eat it. Corrado creates eating plans specifically for her clients.
  • Carol Cottrill, author, speaker and certified nutritional consultant from Rowayton. Cottrill is the author of the "French Twist." She will share her experience of conceptualizing and writing the book with specific 'how to' steps to build an author platform (essential to securing an agent and traditional publisher). She will discuss all of the publishing options including traditional publishing (and how that's changing), hybrid publishing and self publishing.
  • Scarlett De Bease, professional and certified image consultant. De Bease, founder of the Always Know What To Wear(TM) Program has changed the lives of hundreds of women by showing them how to look younger, thinner and taller with the right clothes. Her clients have newly discovered confidence in their appearance and now can walk into a room feeling successful, powerful and attractive because De Bease does not give up until she finds what will make her clients feel great about their appearance with kindness, compassion and genuine respect for their needs and feelings.
  • Suzen Pettit, online marketing and growth strategist. Pettit is the CEO and founder of Omaginarium, a company serving the small business owner to help them “get found” and have traffic walk through the door. With 25 years of small business experience, Pettit knows the marketing challenges small business owner’s face.
