Drunk Driver From New Milford Stopped With Spike Strip On Busy Highway
After refusing to stop for officers, a Connecticut drunk driver's ride was finally cut short after authorities deployed a spike strip on a busy highway interchange in the Hudson Valley, police said. The incident happened in Putnam County on Friday, June 16 just after 11:30 p.m., when patrol officers saw a Jeep Commander commit a traffic infraction on Route 52 in Kent, according to Kent Police. DWI Motorist Charged After Crash Kills Bicyclist
A man driving while intoxicated has been arrested and faces multiple charges after allegedly hitting and killing a bicyclist. Silvio Tenesaca, 49, of Kent was driving in the area of Route 52 and Palmer Trail in Kent around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27 when he allegedly hit and killed the victim, 53-year-old George T. Rosalino of Lake Carmel, who was riding a bicycle.
