The great cow escape occurred in Trumbull around 10 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7 near Old Town Road and Reservoir Avenue. The cow was bought earlier in the day at an auction by an area resident, said Lt. The Bridgeport residents, Janet Gonzalez, age 42, and Carlos Hernandez, age 32, were arrested on Tuesday, July 27, after shoplifting from the Westfield Trumbull Mall, then attempted to enter a stolen vehicle before running from police.
