Suspect At Large After Woman Shot Outside Apartment In Fairfield County A suspect is on the loose after a woman was shot outside an apartment in Fairfield County. The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 in Stratford. That's when officers from the Stratford Police Department responded to 90 Birch Drive to investigate a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the female gun shot victim was located, said Stratford PD Captain Frank Eannotti.  She was transported to the hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
