DANBURY, Conn. – More than 700 runners took part in the Stratton Faxon Danbury Half Marathon on Sunday morning and at the same time helped the Newtown Police Union.

Photo Credit: Chris HoelckRunners who raised $100 for the police union received free entry into the half marathon or 5K, and a portion of the proceeds went to the police union as well. The races started and finished at Danbury’s Rogers Park. The half marathon also went through Bethel and Redding.
