Darren Ebron of Bridgeport was charged with interfering with the duties of a police officer, assault on a police officer and breach of peace, police said. Tecumseh Champlain of Manchester also was charged with breach of peace, police said.
Police attempted to break up a fight between the two men and during the arrest, an officer suffered a knee injury. The officer was treated at Danbury Hospital and released.
Ebron was held on $5,000 bond, and Champlain was released on $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 28.
Two other men were arrested around 2 a.m. Sunday in an unrelated incident at Molly Darcy’s Pub in Danbury, police said. The men were held by security at the bar until police arrived after the men tried to start an unprovoked fight with an unknown man, police said.
The two men, identified as Edwin Ramirez Jr. and Dylan Babstock, struck an off-duty Greenwich police officer after he tried to verbally intervene, as well as a female victim, police said. Both victims were treated at Danbury Hospital and released, police said.
Ramirez, of New Rochelle, N.Y., was charged with breach of peace, third-degree assault and assault on a police officer, police said. Babstock, of Danbury, was charged with breach of peace, third-degree assault, assault on a police officer and interfering with a police officer, police said.
Ramirez was held on $10,000 bond, and Babstock was held on $25,000 bond, police said.
In another unrelated incident, two men were arrested about 12:15 a.m. Friday outside Tuxedo Junction, police said.
Patrick Davidson, 19, of New Haven was charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree assault, and third-degree criminal mischief, police said. Shakeen Fowler, 19, of Bridgeport was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault, police said.
They were released on $1,000 bond each and are scheduled to appear in court Nov. 28, police said.
