Get Downtown Danbury Hosts Winter Clothing Drive DANBURY, Conn. -- Get Downtown Danbury  will hold a donation drive for Danbury residents in need of warm, winter clothing from now until Monday, Dec. 11.  Get Downtown has partnered with Jericho Partnership in an effort to distribute donations to local citizens in need. A number of businesses and public entities in downtown Danbury have signed on as collection sites. Stony Hill Four Corners, Big Y, the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Department and Hawleyville Volunteer Fire & Rescue will collect food to benefit the Bethel and Newtown food pantries.
