Carl Reiner, a longtime New Rochelle resident, turns 95 Monday.
Reiner, an actor, comedian, director, producer and writer of comedy was born March 20, 1922 in the Bronx.
During a show business career spanning almost 70 years, Reiner created, produced, wrote and acted on "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and co-wrote and acted on "Caesar's Hour" and "Your Show of Shows"
Reiner has directed 15 films, including the Steve Martin comedies "The Jerk" and "The Man with Two Brains."
He has performed in Broadway musicals, such as "Inside U.S.A.," "Call Me Mister" and "Alive and Kicking. Reiner also performed a comedy duo with Mel Brooks in the "2000 Year Old Man."
Reiner has received nine Emmy Awards and one Grammy Award during his 68-year career.
