Catalyst Hires Recent Grad From New Fairfield To Work In Social Media

STAMFORD, Conn. – Stamford-based Catalyst Marketing Communications Inc. has hired New Fairfield native Samantha Manz as an assistant account executive.

In her new role, Manz researches and develops social media content for clients and helps manage Catalyst’s social media pages, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. She also provides day-to-day support for the development of collateral materials and advertisements for several of the agency’s key accounts. 

Manz graduated from Elon University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration in entrepreneurship and a minor in German studies. As a student, she interned with Farmington-based New England Asset Management Inc., where she gained experience in e-marketing, including distributing and analyzing marketing materials online. 

She also completed a communications internship at The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), a nonprofit education program located in White Plains, N.Y. At NFTE, she successfully developed marketing materials, coordinated alumni outreach and organized fundraisers and events. 

Passionate about helping others, Manz often gets involved in leading nonprofit volunteer programs, such as Relay for Life and Colleges Against Cancer.
