The height of the road-rage incident that broke out amid gridlock conditions following multiple crashes Tuesday morning on I-684 was captured on video. Around 8 a.m. Nov. 20, Tuesday, traffic was at a standstill on I-684 southbound following a series of accidents near Route 138 in Goldens Bridge. Gridlock Alert: Crash Takes Out Lane On Merritt
This story has been updated. There was gridlock on a stretch of the Merritt Parkway late Saturday afternoon after a crash blocked the left lane. The northbound incident occurred between Exit 27 (King Street/Route 120A) near the Westchester border and Round Hill Road (Exit 28) in Greenwich. Delays of up to 20 minutes were reported until the lane was cleared around 5:30 p.m.

Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Tractor-Trailer In I-95 Hit-Run
A 34-year-old man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver while attempting to cross I-95. Connecticut State Troopers in Troop G found the deceased person after receiving a 911 around 9:29 p.m. Tuesday of debris in the roadway on I-95 southbound in East Haven, state police said. Woman Charged With Leaving Scene Of Crash In Fairfield County
A 43-year-old woman was charged with leaving the scene of a crash after police tracked her down by her vehicle registration. Ruth Dilworth of Greenwich was arrested Sunday after Greenwich Police responded to a vehicle crash on Riverside Avenue, Greenwich police said. Once on scene, police found property damage, and Dilworth's vehicle registration which allowed them to locate her vehicle, police said. An investigation revealed that Dilworth had a valid Washington state driver's license, but not a Connecticut license. She was released after posting $100 bond and is scheduled to appear in …

Bridgeport Man Nabbed In Fairfield After I-95 Police Chase, Crash
A 24-year-old man who failed to stop for a routine traffic stop was nabbed by police following a chase and a crash in Fairfield County. Hasan T. Fleming of Bridgeport was arrested Tuesday after he failed to stop for a Fairfield Police officer conducting a routine traffic stop in the area of Commerce Drive and Coolidge Street, said Fairfield Police Lt. Robert Kalamaras. Fleming engaged officers in pursuit onto I-95 southbound and struck a citizen’s vehicle during the pursuit. This story has been updated. The Merritt Parkway has reopened after an incident caused its closure early Tuesday evening in Fairfield County. Merritt Parkway Reopens After Serious Crash
This story has been updated. A stretch of the Merritt Parkway has reopened after a serious crash. The closure, on the southbound side, is at Guinea Road near the Stamford/Greenwich border and began around 4 p.m. Gridlock stretched back to Norwalk during the closure and all traffic was routed via surface streets into Greenwich. An earlier crash, reported at 3:15 p.m., caused southbound gridlock at North Street (Exit 31) with stop-and-go delays to Den Road (Exit 33).
