Covid-19: Bridgeport Orders Indefinite Postponement Of Public Events Under Rollback To Phase 2 Bridgeport has expanded its Phase 2 COVID-19 safety protocols to include preventing the use of public properties for events for the unforeseeable future. The city made the announcement on Monday, Nov. 2, that all public events planned by outside agencies, organizations or individuals to be hosted on city property will be postponed until further notice to ensure the public health and welfare of the community.  The city said it made the decision in a continued public safety effort to take precautionary measures against the spread of COVID-19.
