Second Suspect Charged For Shooting Death Of Man In Bridgeport, Police Say Police have arrested a Fairfield County man in connection with the alleged killing of a Connecticut man who was gunned down during a robbery of $130 and cellphones. James Howard, 28, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 7, in connection with the Saturday, Aug. 13 murder of New Haven County resident Troy Walker, age 21, of Ansonia, on Knowlton Street. According to Capt. Kevin Gilleran, Howard with was charged with felony murder and robbery for his role in the homicide, which also wounded two others.  This is the second arrest in this case, which remains open until the third …

1 Killed, 2 Wounded In Bridgeport Shooting, Police Say One person was killed and two others seriously injured during a shooting in Fairfield County overnight. The incident took place in Bridgeport, on Saturday, Aug. 13, around 1:50 a.m. in the area of Barnum Avenue & Knowlton Street. Bridgeport police received reports of multiple parties struck by gunfire in the area of Barnum Avenue and Knowlton Street, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police.
