Fatal Truck Crash Causes Massive Delays On I-95 This story has been updated. A fatal tractor-trailer crash caused massive delays on a southbound stretch of I-95 for hours Tuesday morning even though the rig landed off the highway and down an embankment, according to the Connecticut State Police. The crash took place around 5:35 a.m. just north of Exit 89, closing the entire highway for a short while. Currently, the left lane is closed for repair of a guardrail, state police said.
