Greenwich Woman Accused Of Sending Explicit Texts On Ways To Kill Her Mom A 20-year-old Fairfield County woman is behind bars after allegedly texting explicit messages describing the different ways she wanted to kill her mother. Catherine Harper, of Greenwich, was arrested on a warrant on Friday, Jan. 5 for the text she sent on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023. According to Lt. Patrick Smyth of the Greenwich Police, Harper was charged with threatening and held on a $50,000 bond which she could not make.  Police did not provide additional information regarding who she sent the text to.  This is a developing story. Greenwich Man Nabbed For Endangering Child When Overdose Occurs, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been charged with alleged risk of injury to a child after an overdose occurred close to the youngster. Harris Grannick, age 45, of Greenwich, was charged on Tuesday, Dec. 2 in Greenwich for an incident that occurred in December 2023. According to Lt. Patrick Smyth of the Greenwich Police, Grannick was charged with risk of injury to a child and reckless endangerment after an overdose took place in an apartment with a child nearby. Police did not say if the overdose victim survived. He was released on a $50,000 bond.
