The Bridgeport resident who was arrested last month for allegedly trying to kidnap two girls on separate dates at Central High School has been charged after a new victim recognized his picture from a press release. Man Shot In Stomach During Attempted Mugging In Bridgeport A man is recovering after being shot in the stomach during an attempted mugging in Fairfield County. The incident occurred in Bridgeport around 6 a.m., Saturday, April 29 on Atlantic Street near the intersection with Waldemere Avenue. According to Capt.
