Nearly 9-Foot Long Boa Constrictor On Loose In Connecticut There is an eight-and-a-half-foot-long boa constrictor on the loose in Connecticut.  The snake was first spotted Sunday, Sept. 5, in Middlesex County by an East Haddam resident, slithering across a street during a thunderstorm, reported WTNH News 8. Surprise Snake Doesn't Stop Norwalk Police Officers Police officers are used to all kinds of emergency calls, but one call Thursday stopped them in their tracks, though only for a moment. Norwalk police responded to a call in East Norwalk to find a person in need of medical care with a large boa constrictor around their neck and shoulders, said Norwalk Lt. Terry Blake.
