ID Released For Victim In Fatal Bridgeport Shooting This story has been updated. A 44-year-old man shot and killed at the PT Barnum Apartments has been identified by Bridgeport Police. The man who suffered the gunshot wound to the head around 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of 467 Bird St., was Tavon Cooper, police said. Copper was transported by medics to Bridgeport Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
