Nearly 9-Foot Long Boa Constrictor On Loose In Connecticut There is an eight-and-a-half-foot-long boa constrictor on the loose in Connecticut.  The snake was first spotted Sunday, Sept. 5, in Middlesex County by an East Haddam resident, slithering across a street during a thunderstorm, reported WTNH News 8. And while the snake is a first for the town, the snake's owner was surprised to see his snake on social media. Police Corral Escaped Wallaby In Hudson Valley Police officers never know who or what they might spend their day chasing. For agency in the Hudson Valley on Monday, April 5, it was a wallaby that took up a good part of their morning and afternoon in Orange County. The chase began after the "Wallie" escaped from its home at Noah's Park Retreat in Goshen and was hopping and jumping all over town.
