Bronxville High Girls Soccer Team Sets Sights On Another Playoff Run BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - Last year was the first time in seven years the Bronxville High girls soccer team didn't get to the sectional championship game, and the Broncos are not happy about it. Two years ago the team finished its season as state champs - the school's second title (Bronxville also won in 2010).  Bronxville has reached the Class B championship game six of the last seven years in all, winning five sectional titles along the way. Mahopac High Girls Soccer Team Focusing On Teamwork MAHOPAC, N.Y. - Last year's edition of the Mahopac High girls soccer team had its playoff run ended just as it was getting started. The 'Pac got knocked out in the first round of the Class A tournament, falling to North Rockland and ending the season at 4-9-4. But the Indians have some talented players back in the fold this fall, and ninth-year coach Ross Fumusa believes the team has lots of potential. And while the Patriots did lose some important pieces to graduation, the team has the talent, and the motivation to be in the hunt for another title. Last year the Patriots defeated North Rockland to win the sectional title, before falling in the regional semifinal to close the fall at 16-4-2. Horace Greeley High Boys Soccer Team Thinking Big CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. - The Horace Greeley High boys soccer team closed the curtain on last fall's season a little earlier than the Quakers would have liked - something the team hopes to remedy this season. Last year the Quakers finished at 14-4 after falling to Mamaroneck in the AA quarterfinals. Camp Shropshire takes over as Head Coach this season for Bob Herodus.
