Fake 'Malloy For President' Pages Appear On Social Media

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Even though fake social media pages appear on Facebook and Twitter that make satire of his liberal ideals, Democratic Gov. Dannel P. Malloy is not running for president, says the Connecticut Post.

On Twitter the newspaper said "Malloy for President" (@PresidentMalloy) turned up on the internet Monday. A week prior he had been to Iowa to campaign for Hillary Clinton, the article noted.

The creator of the social media pages is not known, the article says.
