Woman Illegally Accesses Checking Account Of Greenwich Resident, Police Say

A woman who illegally used a Greenwich resident's checking account last year was arrested by Greenwich Police.

Irma Materasso, 35, of New York City, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with larceny, identity theft and illegal use of a bank card.

Police said she used another person's name to take money out of an account.

Materasso is being held on a $50,000 bond.
