Two Face Armed Robbery, Drug Charges In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Two Bridgeport men with criminal records are in custody again facing a variety of robbery and drug charges after a friend told police the men used guns to steal $600, then assaulted him last week, according to the CT Post.

Damion Nimely, 20, of Madison Avenue, and Robert Dobson, 20, of East Main Street, are being held at the Bridgeport Correctional Center each on $150,000 bond, awaiting court dates later this month, the CT Post reports.

They've both been charged with several crimes, including criminal use of a firearm, first-degree robbery, narcotics possession and intent to sell. Police said the victim reported Feb. 4 that the men invited him to their apartment but then robbed and assaulted him at gunpoint, the CT Post says.
