The rally will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday on Hungerford Street, between Capitol Avenue and Russ Street, the Post said.
The purpose is to demand the release of information about the investigation into the death of the Bridgeport teen, organizers told the Post.
Negron's death has been ruled a homicide, and a state police investigation is underway.
He was shot to death by Bridgeport Police Officer James Boulay on May 9. A 21-year-old passenger was also shot and injured.
Police said Negron was driving a stolen car and accelerated in reverse, driving the wrong way down Fairfield Avenue and hitting at least one officer near Walgreens.
That was when Boulay, a member of the department for five years, fired the shots, police said.
Boulay has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
After Negron was fatally shot, he was pulled from the car and handcuffed, then placed on the ground, where he was left uncovered for several hours.
The protesters are calling for release of video, which may shed more light on what happened that day, the Post said.
