Man Shot In Front Of Bridgeport Variety Store

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A man was injured in a shooting in front of a variety store on Stratford Avenue in Bridgeport Monday night, according to the Connecticut Post.

The 19-year-old man was listed as being in critical condition after he was struck in front of A&J Variety Store at the intersection of Stratford and Union Avenues, the Connecticut Post reported. The shooting took place at 9:05 p.m. ad he was taken by a private vehicle to Bridgeport Hospital, according to the Connecticut Post.

Bridgeport police told the Connecticut Post that detectives have processed the scene and are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact Bridgeport police.
