Man Charged With Robbing Bank, Assaulting Police Officer In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Bridgeport authorities have a man in custody for allegedly robbing a People's Bank, according to News 12 Connecticut.

Authorities detained Isaac Eagles, 42, who reportedly handed a bank teller a note that demanded money and claimed Eagles had a gun, News 12 Connecticut reported. 

Eagles was tracked down by police near Newfield Avenue where he reportedly also assaulted a police officer, News 12 Connecticut said.
