BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A woman robbed a Chase Bank in Bridgeport on Wednesday after claiming that she had a gun, according to the Connecticut Post.
The robbery took place at around 2 p.m. at the Chase Bank at 2125 Main St., the Connecticut Post reported. The woman told employees that she had a gun and would shoot them, a city spokesperson told the Connecticut Post.
The woman was described as wearing a white tank top and blue jeans, as well as sunglasses and a hat, according to the Connecticut Post. She also had tattoos, the Connecticut Post reported. She fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, and police are investigating, according to the Connecticut Post.
Another Chase Bank in Bridgeport was robbed by a woman wearing a hat and sunglasses a week earlier.
