Peter John Fraboni, 92, Lifelong Bridgeport Resident, World War II Veteran

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Peter John Fraboni, 92, a lifelong Bridgeport resident, died on Tuesday, March 31.

He was born March 11, 1923, in Bridgeport, to Ersilia Fabbri and Giuseppe Fraboni.

Fraboni served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He also worked at Remington Arms for more than 30 years, and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church for 63 years.

Survivors include two sons, Peter (Linda) and Michael (Lynn); two brothers-in-law, Henry Cieciuch and Edward Olcavage; and one grandchild.

His wife, Jean Cieciuch Fraboni; one daughter-in-law, Judy Muira Fraboni; and two brothers, Albert and Alexander Fraboni, are deceased.

Calling hours are 4-8 p.m., Monday, at the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St., Bridgeport.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 310 Pulaski St., Bridgeport.

Interment with full military honors will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Ave., Bridgeport.
