Mack was born in Bridgeport to Maehand and Blanche Allen Mack.
He earned an honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force and worked as a foreman with three local tree services for 37 years.
He is survived by three sons, Maehand Mack III, of West Haven, Mackeen Mack of Georgia and Amondo James-Mack of Bridgeport; two daughters, Amenia Mack of Georgia and Christina Mack of Bridgeport; the mother of his children, Genester Milton of Georgia; brother Willie Mack of Bridgeport; four sisters, Sheila Allen, Corinna Mack, both of Bridgeport; Gloria Mack of New Haven; and Felisha Mack of Stratford; and three grandchildren and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Morton's Mortuary, 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport, with a funeral service to follow.
Interment will take place after the service at Park Cemetery in Bridgeport.
