More Than 1,000 Without Power In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- More than 1,200 people were without power in Bridgeport just after 12 p.m. Thursday.

United Illuminating reported that there were four outages in Bridgeport, affecting 1,251 customers as of 12:15 p.m.

The Connecticut Post reported that there were wires reported down in the area of Cottage Street, and that crews were working to repair them.
