Cuomo said Tuesday at an event on Long Island that he would allocate $5 million in the New York State budget for a study on the feasibility of building a tunnel under Long Island Sound, according to lohud.com.

The tunnel could connect to Connecticut, Westchester or the Bronx, lohud.com said.

“We have to think bold," Cuomo said in his speech. "We have to think big. We can do it. We are New Yorkers — there’s nothing we can’t do.”
