The $35 million project will replace four, 44-year-old southbound bridges over Lindley Street and Capitol Avenue and will require at least one lane at a time on Route 8/25 to be closed as authorities demolish the old bridges and replace them with the new ones, according to the Connecticut Post.
The estimate for the placement of the new bridges, which are prefabricated structures actually being constructed now, is set for "sometime in June," according to the Post.
