Timothy's In Bridgeport Snags Top Honors In DVlicious Best Ice Cream Award

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Timothy Larkin, the owner of Timothy's Ice Cream, was recently awarded the DVlicious certificate for "Best Ice Cream in Fairfield County."

The award was given on behalf of Daily Voice readers who voted in a heated contest that pitted the 33-year-old Bridgeport ice cream parlor against four other finalists across the county.

Finalists included Gofer Ice Cream in Darien, Il Bacio in Danbury, Saugatuck Sweets in Westport, and Scoops in Wilton. Timothy's won with 46 percent of the vote.

Said Larkin: "It’s always very satisfying to be recognized for working hard and trying to put the best product that we can out there. In addition, the award has resulted in several new customers which is always a positive outcome."
