Gun, Drugs, Alcohol Found On Student Inside Southern Great Mills High School, Sheriff Says
A teen is facing charges after bringing a handgun, booze, and drugs into a Southern Maryland high school.
Shortly after students arrived for class at Great Mills High School on Tuesday morning, the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office was tipped off by a student who reported seeing another with a weapon inside the building.
Within minutes, investigators say, school administrators initiated safety protocols, and additional officers arrived to launch an extensive investigation.
