Woman, 84, Extricated After Car Ends Up On Top Of Another Vehicle In Fair Lawn
An 84-year-old woman was extricated after sending her car into the outside of a CVS in Fair Lawn, then landing on top of another vehicle on Friday afternoon, June 12. The woman was attempting to turn and park in the handicap spot when she went over the sidewalk into the exterior of the CVS on River Road, police at the scene tell Daily Voice. She ended up on top of an Acura sedan, authorities said. The woman was freed with help from firefighters and evaluated by Fair Lawn paramedics on scene. She did not appear to be injured, authorities said.

A 2-year-old boy was struck by gunfire inside a Northeast DC apartment building after a suspect opened fire and walked away before police arrived, authorities said. The shooting happened around 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, on the 1700 block of Benning Road NE, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
