Johari Chavez, 14, was last seen leaving her Elmont residence on foot around 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 25, according to Nassau County Police. Relatives reported her missing the following day.
Chavez is described as 5-foot-1 and 170 pounds, with long dark hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black t-shirt, red pajama pants, and black Crocs. A possible destination was not given.
