Troopers Seek PA Man Who Disappeared In Broad Daylight In 2018
State police are seeking tips in the case of Travis Fanning. Fanning was 30 years old when he disappeared in Hazle Township on Nov. 15, 2018, according to troopers. His father last saw him around noon after dropping him off at the Groceries Plus at 1003 Vine Street, police said. The store was just a few blocks from their North James Street home. Around 1:30 p.m., Fanning was spotted at a Fine Wine and Good Spirits about 10 to 15 minutes away from the grocery store. He walked out and has not been seen since. Driver Wanted For Killing Pedestrian, Fleeing Scene In Northeast Philly: Authorities
City police are looking for the driver in a deadly Philadelphia hit-and-run. Authorities said the car hit a pedestrian on the 1800 block of East Torresdale Avenue just before midnight on May 29. The 44-year-old victim later died from his injuries. The driver fled north on Torredale and was last seen on the 4000 block, according to investigators. One teen is in custody after another was shot and killed in Chester on Sunday night, June 9, city police said. Authorities were called to the Wallingford Estates Apartments, 2701 Madison Street, around 8 p.m. They arrived to find victim Sabrie Pierce suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A man and a woman are hospitalized after an early morning wreck on Route 322, Downingtown police say. A silver Honda Fit and a white Chevrolet Equinox collided on the 600 block just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, authorities said. Both were taken to Paoli Hospital Trauma Center while Route 322/Brandywine Avenue was shut down for more than three hours. Pennsylvania State Police investigators are seeking tips in a 9-year-old girl's cold case murder. Carol Ann Dougherty was found dead inside St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church in Bristol Borough on Oct. 22, 1962. She was strangled and had been sexually assaulted, according to troopers. Berks Thieves Used Stolen Truck To Rip ATM From Ground, Troopers Say
State police are investigating a theft from an ATM at a Berks County bank. The three suspects drove a stolen truck to First Citizens Community Bank in Tulpehocken Township around 3 a.m. on May 6, troopers said in a release.
