Udder Chaos: Cow Shows Up At Stafford Resident's Doorstep

A cow who showed up at one Virginia resident's doorstep got a special escort home from police.

A resident on the 1900 block of Poplar Road first found Pumpkin the cow in her backyard around 5 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.

The woman herded Pumpkin to her front porch and waited for deputies to arrive.

Deputy J.L. Jones responded to the scene and took stock of the situation. The owner was soon found at a nearby farm and arrived to bring Pumpkin home.
