Woman Walking Dog In Northeast DC Assaulted At Gunpoint; Pet Taken, Police Say Dognappers are at large in DC after an armed carjacker made off with a woman's beloved 14-year-old West Highland Terrier. Shortly after 10:15 p.m. on Saturday night, a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Department says that a woman was walking her dog when she was approached from behind in the 300 block of Galloway Street NE. Police say that the wanted suspect pointed a gun at the woman and demanded her dog, "Max," before taking off in a vehicle that was waiting in the area. During the altercation, the woman attempted to recover her dog, but was assaulted by the man for her troubles.…
