One Flown In I-66 Tractor Trailer Crash (Update) One person was flown to the hospital in a tractor trailer crash Tuesday morning, Jan. 30 on I-66 in Prince William County, authorities said. The crash involving a Jeep Cherokee and tractor trailer happened on the westbound side around 7:45 a.m., Virginia State Police said. The Virginia DOT site reported nearly 2.6 miles of delays in the westbound lanes following the crash in Sudley near mile post 49. The west right center lane, right lane, and right shoulder were closed. Traffic delays in the eastbound lanes are approximately 4 miles.

Two Dead In I-95 Tractor Trailer Crash That Closed Highway For Hours (Update) Two people died in a multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer crash that closed Interstate 95 for miles Wednesday, July 5, authorities said. The three-vehicle crash happened just after 4:40 a.m. in the northbound lanes at mile marker 136 in Stafford County, Virginia State police said. Traffic backups in the northbound lanes were approximately 5.5 miles, beginning just north of Exit 130 in Fredericksburg as of 7:30 a.m., the Virginia DOT website showed.
