Here's How To Adopt One Of The 4,000 Envigo Beagles The Department of Justice recently approved the transfer and adoption of 4,000 beagles from the cruel and inhuman conditions of the Envigo breeding facility in Cumberland. The beagles will be sent to the local Humane Society, where they will receive care and a healthy environment until they are settled in adequate shelters, according to the Virginia Coalition for Beagle Protection. Once they are in those various state shelters, they will be available for adoption into loving, safe forever homes.
