Joseph Alfonza Jackson, 43, was arrested after opening fire on a man and woman before fleeing the area and later turning himself in, officials say. According to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called shortly after 1 a.m. to the 11200 block of Ashby Drive, where they found the pair suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Suspect Pistol Whips Victim During Crystal City Armed Robbery: Police A person was seriously injured when an armed robber pistol whipped them earlier this week, police said.  Three friends were walking along a sidewalk in Crystal City on Monday night, May 23, when two men approached them from behind, pulled a gun, and demanded money, Arlington County Police said in an incident report.  The suspects stole their cash, some items of clothing, and electronics.
