Man Killed By Car In Fairfax County A man was struck and killed by a car early Thursday, Feb. 15 in Fairfax County, police said. The crash happened at Route 1 and Huntington Avenue in Belle Haven, police reported around 7:30 a.m. The man, a pedestrian, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver remained at the scene.

The accident happened at Route 1 and Holly Hill Road, in Groveton, around 11 p.m. A juvenile passenger was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and crash reconstruction detectives were called to the scene. Virginia Fugitive Leads Police On 100 MPH Chase Along I-95 A Virginia fugitive will be spending time behind bars after leading police on a high-speed chase. Officers with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office responded to the intersection of Warrenton Road and Sanford Drive in Fredericksburg around 7:20 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 21 on a report of a medical emergency. There, they found the unnamed driver slumped over behind the wheel of a vehicle, which was later confirmed to be stolen. When the suspect woke up, he "refused commands" to get out of the car and fled southbound on I-95, police said. The man reportedly continued to travel at speeds…

One Person Dead, Another Rushed to Hospital in Richmond House Fire: Report An early morning house fire in south Richmond killed one person and sent another to the hospital, reports said.   The blaze broke out just after 4:30 a.m. on Friday, June 3, at a house on Decatur Street near Route 1, according to WTVR. Firefighters said one of the residents died in the fire and another needed to be taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.  Rescue workers didn't release any information about the victims, but a woman who showed up said her grandparents lived in the home, WTVR said.  Firefighters had the blaze under control by 5:15 a.m.  @RFDVA crews are on scene…
