Arrest Made In Series Of Laundromat Burglaries In Fairfax County
A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a series of Fairfax County burglaries, police said. Timothy Mears, of Woodlawn, burglarized multiple laundromats between December 2023 and January 2024, and was identified as a suspect on Feb. 8, county police said. Homeless Man Found In Vehicle He Tried Stealing In Arlington: Police
A 30-year-old homeless man didn't get very far after breaking into and trying to steal a vehicle in Arlington this week, police said. Derrick Smallwood and another suspect were trying to break into a parked vehicle on the 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard around 10:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17 when police arrived, county authorities said. Crafty Criminal Busted Stealing $49K From Sak's During Shoplifting Spree In Virginia: Police
A serial shoplifter went back to the well one too many times and is behind bars in Fairfax County, authorities announced. Olatune Oladinni was arrested over the weekend after he was recognized by Loss Prevention Officers at Sak's Fifth Avenue at the Tysons Center Mall in McLean as he was attempting to steal thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from the popular store, according to police.
