Driver Arrested In Deadly Fairfax County Crash, Police Say A driver was placed under arrest following a fatal pedestrian crash in Fairfax County overnight, police said. The crash happened at North Kings Highway and Huntington Park Drive in Huntington, county police said just before 1:45 a.m. Friday, May 24. The pedestrian, an adult male, was declared deceased at the scene. The driver of the striking vehicle remained at the scene and was later taken into custody, authorities said. No further information was provided.

Pedestrian Killed In Fairfax County Hit-And-Run (Developing): Police Fairfax County police were investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian, officials said.On Oct. 2, an adult woman was hit by a car near Annandale Road and Maple Place, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. The victim was taken to a local hospital where she later died, authorities said. Police said a small white SUV may be involved, but they are still looking for a suspect. Police ID 24-Year-Old Man Hit By Several Cars And Killed In Franconia Police released the name of the 24-year-old man who was hit by several cars and killed early Friday morning in Fairfax County.  Keith Thomas was walking along Richmond Highway near the on-ramp for Interstate 95 in Franconia just before 1:30 a.m. when a 2005 GMC Sierra crashed into him, the Fairfax County police said.
