But the Oakton High School teacher has no problem rocking a shorter look if it means easing some pain for a child. And that's exactly what she's doing these days. Last month, Hosken cut 11 inches of her hair to benefit children experiencing medically-related hair-loss. It's all part of an event happening March 16 called The Great Cut, in which an organization called The Longhairs will try to beat their own record for the most hair cut in a day, set in 2019. Police Charge Teen Driver In Crash That Killed 2 Oakton High Students A grand jury indicted the 18-year-old driver who killed two Oakton High School students as they walked home from school in a crash earlier this month. Several others were also seriously injured in the June 7 wreck.  Usman Shahid, 18, of Fairfax, is expected to turn himself over to authorities on Thursday, June 23, Fairfax County police announced. Community Rallies Around Families Of Oakton High School Students Killed in Crash Hundreds of people have donated to help the victims' families in this week's deadly crash in Fairfax County that killed two high school students and sent a third to Inova Children's Hospital with life-threatening injuries.  The crash happened Tuesday when a BMW crashed into an SUV waiting to turn at the intersection of Blake Lane and Five Oaks Road in Oakton. Two Teens Killed, Third Hospitalized In Fairfax County Wreck (Developing) Two teen girls have died, and a third is in critical condition following a two-car crash that involved pedestrians on Tuesday, June 7, in Fairfax County. Paramedics took six people to the hospital for treatment following the wreck.  The crash happened just before noon at the intersection of Blake Lane and Five Oaks Road in Oakton.Maj. Eli Cory told WTOP that a BMW traveling south at a high rate of speed on Blake slammed into a Toyota 4Runner waiting to turn onto Five Oaks.
